Coinbase (main crypto exchange worldwide) has “Learn and Earn” options where basically you watch some short 2 minute videos, answer a multiple choice question, and you get free crypto. Now, these Learn and Earn vary by person, why I have no idea. So if you click the link and it’s not available, don’t blame me, blame Coinbase. Often new users don’t have access, you are better off signing up, joining the Waitlist for the Learn and Earn, and in a week or so you’ll get the email letting you..well Learn and Earn.
These 2 work regardless of whether you are new to Coinbase or already have an account. This one is a bit more complex if you are completely new to crypto, but basically another exchange & crypto wallet is offered by Crypto.com. They have their own coin called CRO, which you can buy in the app, same as you would buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, etc. What I like about Crypto.com is they also have their own Visa debit card, which makes it easy to convert your crypto into actually usable spending quickly and easily.
Sign up is free, the card is free to issue. There’s a few other perks also like cash back and paid Netflix and Spotify subscriptions, I’ll let you read up on those on their site. The 1 catch if you will is you need to buy and hold their CRO token for 6 months. You’ll get your card right away, but your 2,500 CRO (roughly $200 worth) is tied up for 6 months. I personally did it no issue, I love their project and had no issues holding their coin for 6 month.
Koho Debit Card 1.5% Cash Back Zero Fees
I love my Koho card. It’s a prepaid Visa card, you can basically use it as a bank. Receive and send Interac etransfers, withdraw cash, spend as normal, AND you get cash back, immediately, on all purchases. For the first 90 days you get an additional 1%. It adds up very quickly. On top of that, zero fees. I pay $15 a month for RBC and BMO, yet KOHO is 100% free. I really need to close my traditional bank accounts.
